"I started training with Amy shortly after the birth of my first child. I had quite a good fitness level having previously competed in triathlons and run the London Marathon but had a history of injuries from overtraining, poor flexibility and bad posture.
Amy completely changed my approach to training. I became confident using the weights area of the gym, switching from predominantly spinning and body pump to resistance and strength training. I love the flexibility of this, having previously been tied to class timetables, which was stressful with a demanding job and children.
I trained with Amy throughout my second pregnancy, up to the day before I gave birth. Amy was always mindful of what was appropriate pre and post natal. I quickly lost my baby weight and got back in shape both times.
We worked on functional movements and overall I reduced the amount of exercise whilst increasing strength, definition and fitness.
